On 27 February, we conducted a joint workshop on reducing severity in collaboration with the Swiss 3R Competence Centre.
Summary
In this half-day workshop, we introduced simple supportive measures and strategies to reduce suffering and improve animal welfare. We also invited several international experts to share refinement strategies for their specific research areas, and participants also had the opportunity to exchange refinement options for their own experiments with peers and experts.

- Implementing the Roadmap
- Case studies on reducing severity in practice
- Driving forward a culture of care
Due to the high demand for this fully booked workshop, we conducted it for a second time on 15 May.
