About the event
In collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at the University of Buenos Aires, we recently hosted and delivered a webinar focused on reducing and avoiding severe suffering, and understanding cumulative severity.
Summary
The presentation covered several key topics, including:
- The definition and classification of severity from the animal’s point of view
- The three main causes of severe suffering
- The concept of cumulative severity and the importance of thoroughly reviewing and understanding the animals’ lifetime experiences
- An overview of the RSPCA's Roadmap to reducing severe suffering, (which can also be used to refine any level of severity)
This event represented our very first webinar delivered in Spanish and gathered over 100 attendees from across Latin America.
